What is still being tested?
The beta supports Apple silicon and targets macOS 14+. The exact 0.29.0 release passed first launch and live library installation, update, cancellation and retained-version recovery in a fresh macOS 26.6.2 VM. Earlier 0.28.1 runtime checks passed in macOS 14.8.7 and 15.7.7; those are separate artifacts.
Physical second-Mac testing, repeated dictation and long meetings, real device/account combinations, sleep/wake, wider accessibility and resource use remain ongoing. A short sample of the running 0.28.1 host found excessive CPU and memory use; 0.29.0 reduces settings refreshes. Extended resource testing with the full collection of personal plugins remains ongoing. Intel, Windows and Linux packages are not included. There is no App Store edition or self-service plugin marketplace in this release.
0.28.1 · Creator beta foundation
Independent native and lightweight modules, generic SDK actions and progress, per-screen workspace customization and a portable creator trial. Developer ID signed/notarized host and creator samples, with clean-environment install, update and recovery evidence.
Creator Kit 0.1.8
MIT-licensed SDK/tools/examples. Standalone starter generation, packaging and protocol checks; a starter window lifecycle correction found during older-macOS qualification. Full Xcode is needed for native authoring; the app and released plugins do not need it.
